April 19-25 (Fuellhart Visit)

Shortly after we got back from our trip east, the Fuellharts and Oma and Gimpa Luoma came out to Portland to visit us!  We had a great time showing the crew around Portland; visiting museums, the Zoo, and Powell's bookstore, and taking a trip to the coast.  And, of course a trip to Portland wouldn't be complete without some bicycling, so we spent an afternoon biking along the river.  The cousins had a fantastic time together; it was great fun to see Travis, Lindsey and Zach so engaged with Cadel and Senja.

He was very impressed with her cheeks!  He was also a champ at making her smile.

Oma and Gimpa enjoy some time with Cadel, Travis, and Lindsey.

Ryan comes over for a visit to meet the Fuellhart kiddos for the first time.  We have no idea what he's saying to keep them all so interested, but he's a Topper, after all, so we shouldn't be too surprised!

Apr 1-17 (Senja 8 mo, NH trip)

Happy April!  Senja discovers a playmate in the mirror.

We flew back to New England and spent a week at Tuckaway Farm in New Hampshire.  We got to see several of our Boston friends and had a fantastic time with the Cox family.  Cousin Andreas had a splendid time showing Cadel around the farm.  He managed to get Cadel to join him in the chicken coop, but wasn't persuasive enough to get Cadel to pick up one of the chickens.  Maybe next time.

 Cadel earned his keep on the farm by working the excavator.

 Senja ended our trip to NH by pulling herself up to standing for the first time, just after turning 8 months old.
