Cadel turns 1 year old on June 7th!

June 4, 2009: A trip to Walden Pond with our Massage Group friends. Thanks to Jodi for these great photos!
June 7, 2009: We celebrated Cadel's birthday with a joint party (with Oscar and Finn) at Skyline Park in Arlington.

May 2009

May 24-25, 2009: We went up to the Kingdom Trails in Vermont for a mountain biking weekend with Billy, Katie and others. The riding is quite fun up there.

May 30, 2009: With the warmer weather we took many walks on the bike path. Here were are enjoying a sunny day at Spy Pond.
May 31, 2009: Justin gave Cadel his birthday present a week early -- a bicycle helmet. We put it to use that day by riding out to Lexington on the bike path. Cadel did great in the bike trailer and Justin was happy as could be.

April 2009

April 4, 2009: Cadel (10 months) anxiously awaits biking season.

April 24, 2009: Cadel enjoys the Florida beaches. We went down to Florida with Kerry and the kids and Oma.
April 25, 2009: Back in New England, we enjoy some family time at Tuckaway.

March 2009

March 14, 2009: Cadel (9 months) confidently will stand, pulling up anything. Here is one of his favorite places.
March 30, 2009: We officially declare Cadel a crawler (Oma will be so proud).

February 2009

February brought more new foods, a new carseat, a trip to Martha's Vineyard, and a trip to Vermont.

February 11, 2009: Cadel is 8 months old and graduates from the infant bucket seat. He seems quite happy with his new rig.

February 14 - 15: We all (including Crowder) travel to Martha's Vineyard with several fellow SRR runners for the Martha's Vineyard 20-miler. It was a beautiful day and great race. We also used the weekend to celebrate Mariah and Brian's engagement.

Cadel opens his Valentine's Day present from Oma and Gimpa.Here is Stacey along the course.

February 22, 2009: Justin competes in (and finishes) the Stowe Derby. The course goes down Mt. Mansfield and then is followed by a 10K cross-country ski. Going down on skate skis is only for the experts and those crazy enough to join in.

January 2009

January 18, 2009: January brought lots of snow. Here we venture out to the Weston Ski Track. Stacey finds that with enough snow and with Cadel in the trailer behind him, she can finally keep up with Justin on skis!
The other fun activity for January was introducing lots of new foods to Cadel. Turns out he is a very good eater and will try and like everything!
